Games

Arcade Advanced is a compilation of six popular Konami games from the 1980s, including Rush'n Attack, Frogger, Gyruss, Time Pilot, Scramble, and Yie Ar Kung-Fu. Besides being arcade games, most of these have also been quite popular on home consoles. The games themselves are very accurate ports, with some minor exceptions.

Konami Code

The famous Konami Code can be used in this game to enhance each of the games. Of particular note, the code turns the one-player version of Frogger from graphics and sound similar to that of the original Golden Age arcade game to a thoroughly modern graphical and musical update, like that found in the two-player mode. In Scramble the code allows you to choose between three different ships and play a more updated version.

In Time Pilot, it allows you to rapidly fire your gun by holding down the fire button, and offers a sixth stage set in 1,000,000 BC. In Yie Ar Kung-Fu, the code lets you to fight two extra opponents, Bishu and Clayman. In Rush'n Attack, the code gives the player extra lives (not infinite lives). In Gyruss, it enhances the graphics and sound. The game starts off with a text saying, "Now entering black hole".
